Through a high-quality Bluetooth audio PA system, the Churchill Fellowship archival recordings fill the space with voices singing in harmonies that reflect the island’s traditional unique blend of Polynesian and English influences.
Your host, Norfolk Islander and Churchill Fellow, Jodie Williams guides you through the historical context, sharing stories of the people behind the voices, the circumstances of the recordings, and the cultural significance of the musical traditions being preserved.
The tribute culminates in a live performance where traditional hymns are played on the St Barnabas organ, creating a bridge between the archival past and the living present.
